Yes we are those people. The ones who buy their 2 and 3 year-olds a pony. They love her. I love her. She is so sweet and good when the kids ride her. Her name is Violet and she is an American Shetand and she is 8 years old and 11.2 hands high. Basically she comes up to my boobs. Which makes it easier to catch the kids if they start to slide off, but means I must NEVER forget to wear a bra.
Things we have been up to:
Went and saw Dan Zanes in concert with the kids. It was awesome! They are such fun musicians and they know exactly how loud to play and for how long so as not to incur the wrath of God, also known as the toddler melt-down.
We have had birthday parties galore and swimming lessons. The kids are getting ridiculously good at swimming. Theyt are both able to pick up weighted letters off the bottom of the pool. They are diving and leaping in and now Kai is actually starting to perfect the "crawl."
We have TONS of stuff planned this summer. Lots and lots of music to see, friends to visit, riding, swimming, hiking, camping etc. Your basic summer in Vermont.
On the adoption front. Well...............
I got nothing for ya. Don't be so damn impatient! I told you we wouldn't hear anything until next winter. Sheesh, chill out. Wait, am I talking to you or myself. I don't even know anymore. We are in line and in line we will stay until our turn which will be sometime next February or March. So there you go.
Talk to you soon!
