August 3rd & 4th
Well, we're off!!! Zach and I and Kai and my mom are on our way to Kazakhstan. My mom will be with us for a month to help with the kids and we are so excited and grateful she will be there with us. Not only is she a huge help with Kai, but she is one of the best and most fun travelers in the world. If there is something fun to do, my mom will find it! Besides, he passport is filled with stamps from this region; Kyrgystan, Uzbekistan, China. She knows what she's in for!
We have to thank some folks who have helped us get here.
Lisa Kaforey, as always, you are a great friend and a wonderful adoption coordinator. Ann Clark, we are so happy you are our social worker and that you will get to see these kids grow with us! To our dear families, we love you and thank you for all your support and excitement. To the IL ladies, what can I say, you are my sisters. To all our dear friends, we love you. To the other adoptive families on the e-loop, how can we thank you for your support? Words just don't seem adequate.
OK, we are off to go meet Rowan Grace. Yaaaahhhooooo! (I may not be quite this animated after traveling for 28 hours with a 19 month old.)
