April:

Happy Thanksgiving everybody! We celebrated a week early due to travelling conflicts for various family members. We had such fun at Zach's parent's house. 7 of the 8 grandchildren were there (Chris was still away at school) and Kai and Grace thought they died and went to cousin heaven. We ate round the clock for 4 days, talked, played music, played cards and solved all the worlds problems. Now if the powers that be would just listen to us!

We have had a wonderful last few weeks here. Gracie turned 1, learned to walk, got 3 more teeth, and laughs pretty much non-stop now. Kai is talking a blue-streak and ADORES his sister. We are so lucky!

The first real snow is falling and we are settling in for the winter. We have been blessed with a ridiculously warm and sunny November making it possible for the kids to run around outside without too much bulky clothing much longer than usual. We have been busy with playgroups, Waldorf programs, library hours and lots of friends and playing at home. I am loving being home with the kids even if it does look like a tornado whipped through the house every night.

Zach is busy with instruments and is making great progress. We are so lucky he is here all the time. The kids love visiting him in the shop and seeing him for lunch everyday and for random little "hugs and kisses visits." OK, gotta run. Need to clean up a little while Kai is asleep. Gotta do it when I can, know what I mean?

Love to you all.
