April:
Hi folks! Well we had a wonderful November. We were in Califoria for 2 weeks visiting some of our Vermont friends who live out there. We spent a week in North Fork with our friends the Hubners, and the Lovells came for the weekend. We love going out there, checking out Yosemite and just being with our dear friends. These are the people we used to party pretty hard with, so it is kind of funny that we all have kids now, and 9:30 pm starts feeling pretty late.
We then spent the rest of the time in San Francisco with Zach's sister Jenn and her partner Sally. We LOVE being with them and Kai had a blast. We also saw some of our WPA friends while we were there.
Kai was great on the flights and he and I stopped in NYC for 3 days on our way home to visit with my mom. Kai loved the city, at one point he was trying to wave at all the people on the subway. He finally realized that 1 hand was not enough and started flapping both arms so he could wave at people in both directions. It was pretty cute!
We are getting ready for the holidays. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at Zach's parent's house. We will split Christmas between my mom's pace and his parents. We will also get to see the California gang again since they are all coming home for Christmas.
Things will slow down for a bit in January. We will get back to our usual routine of playgroup, library hour and kindermusik. Then things will speed back up again as we begin the process of adoption all over again in the spring! We will be signing up to bring home a sister for Kai sometime in 2006! Kai has been such a joy and delight and is such a wonderful human being, that we are eager to have more children. We also want him to experience the joy of having siblings.
We will post pictures fro Christmas later this month. Thanks for checking in!
Love to you all!
