OK, below you will eventually find dates upon which you can click to open our travel journals. We leave on April 5th, if our visas get back to us in time, and arrive in Bishkek on April 7th. We will probably not start posting until the 7th or 8th depending on exhaustion levels.
WE WILL NOT BE POSTING PICTURES OR ANY IDENTIFYING INFORMATION ABOUT THE BABY UNTIL HE IS LEGALLY OURS. WE WILL BE SENDING PICTURES IN PRIVATE E-MAILS TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND ADOPTIVE FAMILIES WE KNOW PERSONALLY. Sorry it has to be like this, but the adoption world has changed since we adopted Kai & Grace and there are people out there who could try and interfere in our adoption if we posted too much info. I am not even kidding, I have seen it happen. I am talking, other adoptive families, other agencies and people who have reasons you can't fathom. Sadly there are some lame people out there, and therefore, those of you who are awesome (the vast majority I like to think) will have to wait until we are legally the little guy's parents before we will put him up for public viewing.
In the meantime, a little info on Kyrgyzstan for those of you who have no idea where it is. Not YOU, obviously, you are too smart, but maybe the guy reading over your shoulder. This info is for him. And no dude, the women do not wear burkas there.
