For those of you visiting us for the first time, this is the place where April and Zach Taylor document our family's adoption experiences. If you look at the bar to the left you will see you can click on the button labeled Kazakhstan Adoptions. These online daily entries are the stories of our two trips to Taldy-korgan, Kazakhstan to adopt these amazing people and become a family.
So it turns out domestic adoption is not for us. So we are heading back to Central Asia, this time we are trying to go to Kyrgyzstan, for a baby boy. This ought to be an entertaining process to follow, so jump right on in and enjoy the crazy!
OK, I feel the need to add a disclaimer, actually it's more of a warning. After years of having to listen to people complain about our use of language or our political opinions, I'm bored of defending this site. This site is for Zach and I to say what we think and feel about a variety of topics from adoption, to politics to the need some people feel to add crazy flavors to cheesecake (why mess with a perfect food is my question?). We pay for the site so we feel that we have this right. OK, here comes the warning. Ready?

WE FREQUENTLY AND GLEEFULY DISPARAGE OUR CURRENT ADMINISTRATION AND WILL EXTEND THAT TO ANY OTHER GOVERNMENT WE FEEL DESERVES IT.
There's more, but you get the general idea. Basically if you are easily offended, stop reading now. There are lots of other happy, sweet, 'angels and fairies' types of adoption sites. This isn't one of them.
